This Italian trattoria slash butcher shop is so raw and cozy. Dressed in a rustic decor of bare wooden tables and chairs, tiled floors and chandeliers with cutlery hanging from them, you are sure to get an Italian country side farmhouse feel from it.
To say that we were taken care of would be an understatement. We were doted upon!! We had a large party and chef Frank was extremely hospitable and opened up their private room for us. Frank himself came out to check on us frequently, explained the dishes to us and assisted us in ordering our meal.
This is traditional Italian comfort food at its best that is made with EXTREME care and for an unbeatable price! I can honestly say that I enjoyed every single dish that we had, although, some of my dinner guests shied away from the Bollito Misto. Bollito Misto is an assortment of slowly braised fatty meats that is definitely a meat lovers dish and is not for everyone. I, however, thought it was to die for!
I think I left this place with a lil' crush on lil' Frank. After all...food is definitely the way to this girls heart!! :)
